Marketing & Business Development Internship

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to work in our office providing support in the areas of business development and marketing. You will develop competencies in client development and customer service while strengthening your strategic thinking, planning, and organizational skills.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist the Business Development Manager and the Marketing Manager with day-to-day activities
  • Maintain and update the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
  • Assist in helping to create and publish ads for Twitter, Facebook and other outlets in a quick and efficient manner.
  • Help to monitor social media trends and their impact on the company brand awareness.
  • Make outbound calls to prospects
  • Generate leads and initiate the sales process with potential customers
  • Identify decision makers within targeted leads to begin sales process
  • Perform additional duties, projects, and responsibilities as required


QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and abilities:

  • Outgoing and energetic attitude.
  • Some experience in customer care call environment.
  • Experience in social media marketing.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High-level computing skills (Microsoft Word, Excel)
  • Solid strategic thinking, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Good listening skills and detail-oriented.
  • Collaborative team-player.
